Field Technician – This is an exciting new role with a well-established Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. The main purpose of the role is to survey, repair, assemble/ disassemble, and test various equipment at onshore and offshore locations.
Responsibilities:
* Travel to onshore and offshore sites both in the UK and overseas to support operational requirements.
* Maintain high standards of quality.
* survey, repair, assemble/ disassemble, and test various equipment.
* Report all defects to senior management teams.
* Liaise with the Workshop & Field Manager on any issues arising.
* Comply with all health and safety procedures.
* To maintain material certification and traceability for all material used.
Experience:
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professional.
* Ability to have a flexible approach to working times.
* Ideally have a multidiscipline approach.
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/ specifications.
Qualifications:
* Minimum – mechanical trade with a good all-round understanding of oilfield equipment assembly and pressure testing techniques.
Remuneration:
* Base Salary - £49,700K
* Competitive offshore day rate
