We are currently recruiting for a Driver/Operative for a busy waste/recycling management client in the south of Aberdeen. This is a permanent position staffing position. It would be advantageous to have experience in a similar role.
The Main duties and responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:-
Transit Van collection of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, delivery of sacks and consumables.
Loading and unloading of Special Waste from Transfer Station/Customer Sites
Correct Completion of all Waste Paperwork & ensuring waste is Labelled correctly.
To liaise with Site Chemist ensuring that Hazardous Waste is correctly identified
Assist with bulking and sorting of waste
Assisting with on and off-site listing, packaging, and preparation of Waste Loads
Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment are properly maintained/serviced with all required
checks carried out.
Skills and Experience:-
Aware of Client IMS Policy and Procedures (QHSE)
Full clean driving licence
Forklift experience and Dangerous Good Transport Experience (preferable)
· Chemical Awareness Training
Hours of Work will be 8am to 430pm Monday to Friday.
