Hales Group are currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our successful client in the Central Lowestoft area. The Client are growing from strength to strength and have a lot to offer for the right candidate.
Please note - Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must hold a full clean UK Driving License and be confident with the local area. You will be required to travel to local sites for this post so you must hold a full license to be successful in this role.
Main duties for this position will be, but not limited to:
Ongoing research and recommendations to ensure Legislation up to date within the industry
Full support to the Directors as required
Research and obtain price comparisons for any contract / insurance renewals
Running the day to day Client accounts including collection, dealing with arrears, banking and daily bank reconciliation.
Payments to Contractors on a weekly basis, cross checking invoices against quotes received before paying.
Month end reconciliation of all Client accounts.
You must hold a strong knowledge of literacy and numeracy, be qualified to AAT level and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. The successful candidate will need to learn every aspect of the day to day operation of the business as well as the industry. A key part of this role will be to provide full and effective support as necessary, during holiday periods.
