Management Accountant
Edinburgh, City Centre - Hybrid
Up to £50,000 (DOE)
Amplifi Talent is delighted to be working with a well established and prestigious business in Edinburgh, who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their busy finance department.
Responsibilities;
* Compile monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis and commentary for review by the Management Board
* Generate weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for presentation to the Management Board
* Maintain accurate records of accounts
* Develop and assess financial controls to ensure compliance and efficiency
* Support in the creation of annual budgets and year-end financial statements
* Handle the preparation and filing of taxation returns such as VAT, PAYE, and business tax returns
* Oversee and verify payroll processes
* Conduct ad hoc research on technical accounting and tax topics
* Manage treasury functions and prepare cash flow projections
* Cultivate strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external providers
The Ideal Candidate;
* 1 - 2 years post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) member.
* Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, and earns trust.
* Delivers excellent service to both internal and external clients, consistently exceeding expectations.
* Capable of establishing trusted relationships with external service providers.
* Exhibits accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
* Proactive in suggesting challenging methods of working, improvements, and efficiency recommendations.
