Are you looking to use your skills to the full and work in a friendly social team? We have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon confident with consults and routine surgeries to join us in East Lothian.
We are a busy small animal practice with a few branches in the region providing the ideal opportunity to maximise your potential. We are a great, friendly, social team of vets, nurses, and support staff - while you will be based at our main branch, you will also be working some shifts at other practices on the rota.
Our practice has a full range of surgical and medical facilities and we are also a Veterinary Nursing training practice. We are looking for a team player. You will have to be a good communicator, have empathy with clients and their pets, and a passion to extend your range of experience, alongside our like-minded team.
We are flexible about how your wish your career to develop. We can support training, encouraging vets to study for certification & undertake CPD in your field of interest. We have a lovely new ultrasound machine if you want to hone your echo skills.
Working a 4-day week and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, There is no on call duty or out of hours. A part-time position or job share will be considered. Salary is up to £55,000 commensurate with experience.
