It may not sound like the most glamorous industry, but when you see that our client base encompasses the Engineering, Science and Software sectors, it becomes a little more interesting. The diversity of clients that we deal with, allows our sales team to speak with industry leaders who are changing the face of innovation. We currently have over 5,000 active clients in the UK and this number is growing every day.
As the job title states this is a Business Development role, you will be engaging with businesses leaders, who may not be using Leyton and qualifying leads provided by the inside sales team.
This is a full 360° sales role where you will be prospecting and closing deals. A field based role, where regular UK travel will be expected, along with phone and video conference meetings. You will be building up your client list and for every deal closed, you will be adding to your commission.
Who are you
With a track record of B2B sales within a solutions selling environment, you’ll be skilled in closing deals and have the ability to engage with business leaders from various industries.
You are someone who makes relationships easily and has contacts within the engineering, finance, science or software sectors.
Working in a target driven and challenging environment is what gets you out of the bed in the morning and pushes you to succeed.
What we will offer you
We offer a base salary of £40k - £45k + car allowance and uncapped commission scheme. As you are a successful sales person, you would be disappointed if you weren’t clearing £65k - £70k in the first year. We also have excellent benefits and an office that is located in the heart of Edinburgh.
