Eden Scott's client is an established, fast-moving laser photonics business. They cater for a wide range of demanding applications including holography, metrology, spectroscopy, short-range LiDAR and quantum technology. The technology at the heart of their lasers is the culmination of decades of research including over 150 published papers and 40 secured patents. This is a role with global scope given the venture has already recorded customers in over 30 countries Worldwide.

Due to expansion, the business is looking to recruit a Sales Executive.

Key responsibilities:

* Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion

* Create sales opportunities by generating appointments for the wider Sales team

* Manage and maintain the company CRM system

* Influence the sales process and enhance the current capabilities and process

* Collating relevant information to allow proposals to be generated

* Use strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments

Ideal candidate:

* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a science discipline

* Experience in a sales/business development role (or a keen interest in sales)

* A self-starter who can work to an agreed sales and business plan and targets

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and network
