FM Operations Director

A successful and well-established Facilities Management (FM) provider to the built environment is experiencing continued and organic growth. To further enhance their service delivery, they have created a new opportunity for an experienced, driven, and entrepreneurial FM Operations Director. This full-time, permanent role will oversee and develop the company's Total FM service delivery across Commercial Property, Hospitality & Leisure, and the Private Sector.

Key purpose:

As the FM Operations Director, you will be responsible for the management, direction, and development of the Total FM delivery package. This includes both Hard and Soft Services such as Technical Services (M&E and HVAC), Property Maintenance, Water Hygiene, Cleaning & Security, and Energy. You will have full P&L and compliance responsibility for all departments under the Total FM business, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Key responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

* Management, direction and development of the Total FM delivery package incorporating both Hard & Soft Services including Technical Services (M&E and HVAC), Property Maintenance, Water Hygiene, Cleaning & Security and Energy

* Full P&L and Compliance responsibility for all departments that fall under the Total FM business

* Process and System implementation

* Management and reporting of agreed budget, P&L accounts and KPI measurements for each department under the Total FM business

* Maintain oversight of PPM and reactive delivery in line with SFG20 standards, ensuring CAFM and Asset management systems are utilised effectively.

* Maintaining oversight of CAFM and Asset management systems in line with SFG20 standards

* Team management including recruitment, learning & development, succession planning, mentoring & coaching

* Executing and delivering internal and external planned audits

* Continually developing strategies to reduce company operating costs.

* Ensuring all Total FM delivery teams work efficiently

Essential requirements:

* A highly motivated, driven and entrepreneurial Facilities Management professional with extensive knowledge of all aspects of Total FM including Hard & Soft Services

* A strategic, commercial, and operationally astute professional

* A driven and entrepreneurial individual with well-developed leadership capabilities

* Strong track record in implementing and driving change, improving service delivery, and effectively managing budgets

* Have held full responsibility from singular site to multi-site TFM portfolios

* Strong Personnel management and client management skills

* Strong commercial skills including proven track record of full P&L responsibility

* Stakeholder management experience

* Full UK Drivers Licence
