Superior Recruitment are currently working with a professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources who are recruiting for a Senior Structural Designer to join a project delivery team in Aberdeen on a 12-month contract basis.
Responsibilities:
* Execute structural design and draughting activities in the PDMS environment.
* Prepare structural drawings and design deliverables to the required technical quality with guidance from engineering personnel.
* Prepare structural drawings from agreed work scopes.
* PDMS CAD modeliing and draughting techniques.
* Able to use draughting standards and specifications.
* Carry out work by relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
* Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of working practices and systems to continuously improve systems, personal and team performance.
Qualifications:
* HNC in an appropriate Engineering subject.
* Prior experience within this role.
* Previous experience in an Oil & Gas environment
