Accounts and Audit Manager

Engage Talent Partners are supporting our local accounting client with recruiting an Audit and Accounts Manager.

In this role, you would be managing audits for clients whilst also supporting them with other financial activities such as preparation of their financial statements and corporation tax returns.

Key responsibilities:

* Leading audit engagements, including supervising and delegating work to the team.

* Preparing and reviewing audit files prior to Engagement Leader review.

* Liaise with clients during the audit process to ensure work is carried out to a high standard.

* Liaise with non-audit clients to ensure smooth turnaround of accounts and tax requirements, including sign off meetings and subsequent submissions.

* Support and mentor junior team members.

Our client is seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of auditing owner managed businesses, preparing financial statements under FRS102 for small and medium companies, charity accounts and exposure to Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
