12month PAYE - Glasgow (Hybrid 3 days in the City Centre office)
FPSG are supporting our established global client with an exciting opportunity for a Finance Regulatory Specialist on a 12-month temp role, based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established project team responsible for managing Finance's technology spend, helping to deliver across a portfolio of projects including, Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, Financial Accounting and General Ledger renovation.
Role Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
* Project leadership and support of the Financial Regulatory Reporting stream
* Monitoring and enhancing project plans (inc. deliverables & dependencies etc.)
* Owning the prioritization and resource allocation across simultaneous programs.
* Key decision making related to risks, boundary issues, timelines, scope, resources ect.
* Manage the transition into Business-As-Usual (BAU).
* Championing Agile practices.
* Coordinating and running working group and project governance groups.
* Building and executing stakeholder action plans and appropriate follow-up.
* Update presentation and communication to key stakeholders.
You will have the following skills:
* In depth relevant experience within project management background gained in the Financial Services Industry.
* Experience of Financial Reporting projects such as FinRep would be preferred but experience within the wider Financial Regulatory space would be considered.
* Prior experience of Investment Banking business lines, instruments, products.
* Experience of Microsoft Office, PM tools, Excel, MS Project and Visio.
* Experience of investigating, summarising, presenting outcomes & activities to stakeholders.
