Job Purpose:
Our client is looking for a Head Of Delivery to be accountable and responsible for the management and delivery of the Regional Business Plan against a dashboard of KPIs, including financial, staff and learner performance, ensuring the learner journey is delivered to the standard expected.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* To be responsible and accountable for the effective management and delivery of the Regional Business Plan, from development and agreement of targets and activities to support and underpin the corporate Strategic and Business Plans, through to delivery of agreed KPIs, financial performance, resources, and staff performance including appraisals.
* To ensure that the end-to-end learner journey is delivered to the expected standard as set by the Deputy Delivery Directorate with agreed targets for all the learners in learning to achievement.
* Ensure Safeguarding is always maintained throughout the region adhering to the policies and procedures set out by the Deputy Delivery Directorate. Follow any escalation required adhering to the statutory requirements.
* Engage with and contribute to the quality improvement work led by the Deputy Delivery Directorate that set out the learner journey and the standard expected to be delivered.
* Manage the assessment and teaching within the region through the Managers (including Centre managers) to meet the targets as agreed within the business plan.
* Through the managers, oversee the management of the individual targets at assessor and tutor level identifying any issues, suggesting proposals and mitigations of reduced delivery against the regional business plan.
* Ensure regular team meeting take place at the local and regional level.
* Ensure that the tutors and assessors work together to plan and deliver regular reviews each year, in line with regulatory requirements, with relevant information to inform learners and employers of progress and targets.
* Ensure that all Centres are optimised with learner numbers based on the capacity available reducing the reliance on the sub-contracted provision.
* To manage the relationship of sub-contracted provision in line with all associated sub-contractor and auditory standards and requirements within the region at the Principal or Vice Principal level, ensuring regular performance management meetings are in place (based on a combination of risk and annual business cycles) and intervene where required to mitigate operational and financial risks and maintain delivery quality standards. To manage the relationship with any national accounts or large employers with head offices within the region including performance of the learners, resolution of issues, deployment of appropriate resources.
* To maintain an awareness of developments in company products and services ensuring professional knowledge is always up to date across the team. Input to the materials used by training team to assist with upskilling the team members as relevant.
* To build and maintain good working relationships with external parties, attending and assisting with relevant networks, events, and committees to promote business wherever possible and to feed back as appropriate on external developments of importance.
* To ensure readiness at any time for external inspection or audit at any time.
* Share good practice across the company based on delivery experience and results to inform the next iteration of the business plan.
* Ensure that the structure/team has sufficient SME’s who are knowledgeable and competent to contribute to curriculum development.
