Job Title: Lead Asbestos Surveyor
Location: St Albans, North London.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £40k + Training + Benefits
We are working with a renowned Asbestos Consultancy who have a strong presence in the South East region. They are now seeking to take on a Lead Asbestos Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out asbestos surveys on Commercial, Educational, Local Authority, and Leisure sites. The successful candidate will also have experience supervising, delegating, and training a team of surveyors, ensuring work is completed in line with agreed timelines. Our client can offer the successful candidate opportunities for overtime, company vehicle, company tablet, excellent holiday allowance and company pension.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Watford, Stevenage, Hertford, Bishop's Stortford, Luton, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Brackley, Harlow, Cheshunt, Slough, High Wycombe, Windsor, Oxford, Abington, Bicester, Witney.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 is essential to the role.
" Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Will have extensive hands-on experience working as a surveyor and will have experience supervising and training a team of surveyors.
" Excellent time management skills.
" Able to communicate efficiently with colleagues and clients.
" Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant HSG 264 guidelines.
" Providing training on site
" Managing and delegating a team of surveyors.
" Liaising with clients
" Ensuring work is being carried out in line with agreed timelines.
" Providing clients with excellent reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
