We are seeking a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a background in the civil engineering sector, in particular roads, earthworks and drainage. This is a URGENT hire and therefore candidates who are local and/ or immediately available would be advantageous.

Within this role you will be responsible for project cost control, estimating and quality standards, however, the ideal candidate would be someone who can work under pressure, ability to build relationships with clients and take control.

As a “hands-on” surveyor you will be involved throughout the whole lifecycle of the project.

You MUST have vast experience in NEC forms of Contracts, especially NEC3 Option B, CEMAR and hold the required qualifications and experience. Accountable for managing the project costs, from conception to completion

Produce monthly CVRs

*

Cost management and CVR reporting to the Senior Management team

*

Prepare Interim Applications and Final Accounts

*

Valuing subcontractors' applications and certification of payments

*

Liaise with main contractors regarding commercial issues

*

Subcontract management

*

Managing change control

*

Production of estimates and BOQs

*

Cash flow monitoring

*

Prepare take-offs - accountable for measurements

*

Manual take-offs, Bluebeam aided takeoffs of drawings

*

Valuing and agreeing CEs

*

Cost analysis

*

Cost monitoring

*

Assist on claim matters

*

Risk Assessment
