Based in Chatham, Kent, MKC Training Services provides education to military, construction and engineering industries.
They are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales and Marketing individual to assist in the day to day running of the Sales and Business Development Team to drive and develop new business through sales and marketing activities, in addition to maintaining and developing customer relationships.
You will deliver digital marketing campaigns and marketing content activity, becoming the focal point for marketing communications internally and externally.
Business, Marketing or Public Relations Degree, or equivalent (or willing to study towards)
Working in a marketing department (training industry beneficial)
Organising public relations events, exhibitions for a business
Running Social Media channels
Developing marketing strategies
Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of SEO and PPC advertising
CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
Cold and warm calling
Negotiation and influencing sales
Developing and delivering presentations
Prospecting at events and exhibitions
Highly articulate with a good standard of oral and written English
Ability to use design tools i.e. Canva or Venngage for marketing materials
Reporting to the Head of Business Development you will;
Assist with developing the marketing strategy to drive footfall; undertaking market, customer and opportunity research, and creating, maintaining and procuring marketing materials
Manage social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
Update and maintain the website, continually developing new content and blogs to increase visitor numbers
Use Google Analytics and other tools to assess impact of campaigns, monthly reporting and make marketing decisions based on data
Develop and implement tailored multi-channel marketing campaigns across targeted markets for both B2B and B2C customers
Responsible for PR, from initial point of contact through to organising and executing events and campaigns
Liaising with and supporting stakeholders, media, vendors etc and maintaining and developing internal and external relationships
Supporting the Business Development team in securing new business by;
- Cold and warm calling of customers
- Negotiating and influencing sales
- Developing and delivering presentations
- Prospecting and events and exhibitions
