Have you got experience of supporting children with SEN/SEMH? Are you looking to support one-to-one outside of mainstream schools? This SEN tutor role will be ideal if you are a newly qualified teacher, SEN one-to-one or have any experience working with tutoring children and are looking for some flexible work. This SEN tutor role involves: – Working with children with Special Education Needs and providing face to face support to children with ASD, SEMH or PMLD. Planning resources around the child’s needs, this could be on developing their knowledge in Maths, English and Science.

– Skills and experience on keeping the child engaged with task and ensuring they can access the learning. – Managing behaviour and implementing a range of behaviour strategies. If you are looking to enhance your skills and experience this will be great to add to your CV.

SEN experience

Able to plan and deliver engaging, nurturing sessions.

Applying skills to raise pupils’ confidence and learning.

Experience with working with children with challenging behaviour.
