This includes commercial offices, high-end residential properties, several restaurants, Heritage buildings, & industrial units ranging over 100,000 sq. ft. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to step up to and manage a Captial Project Management team.
THE CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGER
The successful candidate will be expected to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Deliver each project safely as well as monitoring each contractor's performance throughout each of the construction stages. Our client would love someone who has been working for a consultancy and is looking to make the switch to client-side or perhaps someone who is already working client-side in a similar role. If you have achieved MRICS status via the building surveying route this would be seen as an advantage. Ideally, you would have had experience within a consultancy and worked on a number of different projects, They are looking for a Capital Project Manager who would be similarly technically minded to their current property team.
You will be expected to program manage a high volume of their portfolio and ideally have a proven track record of dealing with the complexities that would normally arise from delivering multiple projects simultaneously. As the Captial Project Manager, you will be working closely with the Asset & Development managers to develop options for rental unit enhancements through the appropriate deployment of capital investment. No two days are ever the same and the diverse selection of properties as well as their long-term vision for the business means our clients are continuing to grow in light of the reason surroundings the world has recently offered. There is a clear plan of ‘career progression’ which has been put in place which you do not normally find in rival client-side opportunities. They also boast an impressive retention rate of their staff and have recently made several more excellent hires which have propelled the business even further. They are building a very strong and competent property team.
Our client is offering up to an £85k basic salary, two types of bonuses one of which averages around 10% of the basic salary, a healthy pension as well as several other benefits and a flexible work approach that they had in place before this current pandemic we all have had the pleasure of living through!
