Reporting to the Head of Pre-contracts, you will oversee the services design, installation and commissioning of technical services to meet the project’s programme to the highest standards of workmanship and quality, ensuring that all systems are operating at the intended design to ensure client expectations are met. We are seeking a qualified and ambitious Technical Services Manager with a positive attitude, and a track record in office design and build.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Reviewing the construction programme ensuring sufficient time for commissioning and void closure key milestones

* Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure sub-contractor MEP plant / component procurement schedules and technical submittals registers are prepared

* Chairing M&E/Design Coordination meetings and attend Client Progress meetings preparing Building Services dashboards in advance

* Assisting with the creation of the commissioning & witnessing schedule

* Actively educating the Project Management team in the understanding of the building services methodology and procedures and maintaining an awareness of build activity throughout the project, attending sub-contractor meetings where possible

* Reviewing all MEP-related correspondence

* In conjunction with the PM, assist with the snagging and close-out process

* Reviewing the quality / content of services information for inclusion within O&M Manuals, carrying out a final review to ensure compliance

You will able to demonstrate experience of delivering complex services fit-out schemes over £5m and have good knowledge of all M&E systems used within the office design and build fit-out industry. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with a top 10 contractor. You will be able to effectively monitor sub-contractors, show good problem-solving skills and have excellent communication skills. You will hold appropriate qualifications such as HND / HNC Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, CIty & Guilds Mechanical / CIty & Guilds 17th Edition or HV Authorised (either current or previous).

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent, fully office based role

The company does not have a fixed salary scale and will pay an appropriate and fair salary based on experience and abilities
