Our client, an expansive and forward thinking commercial enterprise, based in central Hertfordshire, is looking for a newly qualified accountant looking to play a pivotal role in a dynamic global enterprise.

The successful candidate will be academically strong, qualified ACA/ ACCA, and educated to degree standard.

The position is not static and will be revised as the need arises but is likely to focus on the following areas:

- Preparation of monthly trial balance and management accounts.
- Supporting the senior finance team with analysis and calculations for IFRS reporting requirements.
- Fee income invoicing and reconciliation of all debtor balances.
- Local GAAP entity financial statements.
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations,and maintain relevant documentation around the control environment.
- Assisting in the co-ordination of the external interim & year audits.
- Reconciliation of the company's inter-company positions and maintenance of working relationships.
- Maintaining control of the capital/liquidity movements of the assigned entity including but not limited to cash re-balancing, dividends and interest payments.
- Contributing to Board and Committee papers and presentations.
- Completing Corporate Tax computations for multiple legal entities.
- Assisting with the preparation of the Annual Report and interim financial statements.

The ability to develop and represent financial accounting across multiple subsidiary entities will be required. In addition, intellect, drive and common sense are pre-requisites for any application as is the desire to expand your skill-set at every given opportunity. You will be surrounded by a large team of talented individuals who will be on hand to mentor and inspire and so a real hunger for learning is a must!
