The Role:

In your role as an Operations Manager, you will be the key interface to the operations teams and will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager. The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for strategic leadership & customer engagement and will work closely with you to ensure operational excellence for our customers. 
 
As an Operations Manager you are responsible for ensuring the professional management of Sasse & customer site(s) for the services we provide. You will work collaboratively with your teams to ensure we keep our customer promises and do so to the highest possible standard. in doing so you will ensure all Site Supervisors, Team Leaders and Operatives within your responsibility are aware of duties and provide services to the best of their capabilities. 
 
You will lead by example creating a positive and secure working environment for our employees. It is essential to ensure positive collaboration with your Senior Operations Managers and with your clients. You will ensure that employees within your remit receive proper onboarding, training and development to allow them to excel in their role at Sasse. 
 
Your Responsibilities:

Work to a strict department budget to deliver outstanding, but efficient performance in your areas of responsibility with guidance from the Senior Operations Manager.
Deliver effective team management coordinating multiple resources across varying locations. You will lead & motivate field-based teams in your area of responsibility to ensure efficient operations for our customers.
Demonstrate and implement robust practices. 
Work in collaboration with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction.
Ensure Sasse quality standards are met through regular audits and inspections using the company’s digital tools.
Recruit, onboard & train new starters.
Adopt a “hands on” approach where required.
Ensure scheduling, wages and budgets are processed correctly and in line with management instructions. 
Assist with implementation of new contracts and or assist with handover of contracts to new supplier.  

About you:

You will preferably have a strong knowledge and understanding of Facilities Management. You must be able to demonstrate meticulous digital and workforce skills and provide examples of these during interview. Your operational experience in a complex operational organisation will be matched by your ambition to implement change, future proof our services and drive digital and automated efficiencies. 
 
A strategic thinker, you’ll bring a fresh perspective to this role and have the energy and tenacity to drive change. Able to work at pace, you’ll build trusted relationships and a positive team culture. 
 
You’ll also be passionate about your professional development, which we will support and encourage. You preferably are degree educated and/or professionally qualified.
 
Essential Requirements:  

Must be willing to have the company obtain a Police Level 3 vetting and security clearance certificate / security disclosure, which will be paid for by the company.  Valid full UK driving licence required.

You may have experience in the following roles: Facilities Manager, Area Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Site Operations Manager, Facilities Services Manager, Property Manager, Contract Manager, Field Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, etc.
