We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team and help provide a fantastic service throughout the day in a busy farm cafe! The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, good organisation skills in the kitchen, have experience working in a kitchen environment, and possess a strong understanding of food safety practices.
About the Role
Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
Assist in all areas of meal preparation as needed
Help prepare any baked goods and set up for service
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
Ensure all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served safely
Collaborate with kitchen team members and the front of house team to ensure timely and efficient food production and service.About You
You would have proven experience as a Cook or similar role
Food knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
A candidate with good understanding of health and safety in the kitchen.
Someone with understanding of food safety regulations
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
