Kitchen Assistant – Oakham Grange
£12.00 per hour
Full Time 40 hours per week (includes alternate weekends)

At Oakham Grange, we are recruiting an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist our chefs with the food preparation for our residents.
As a natural team player, you are happy to get involved, work with our committed catering team to achieve a positive contribution to our residents lives, but above all you are keen to develop in a role and gain experience in all aspects of a fully working kitchen environment.
You will have excellent communication skills and be happy to interact and show empathy towards our residents.
Working as part of a friendly team you will;
* help the chefs with basic food preparation
* receive and unload deliveries
* wash -up and keep our kitchen clean to a very high standard.
* Plating up resident lunches.
You will also get an opportunity to learn about the IDDSI food preparation requirements for special diets, and this role could be a first step into a catering career for someone willing to learn.
