Job Description: We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals with autism, challenging behaviour, and learning difficulties. You will work closely with our service users to promote their independence, well-being, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing person-centred support to individuals with autism, challenging behaviour, and learning difficulties.
Assisting service users with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
Supporting individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
Implementing behaviour support plans and strategies to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
Encouraging social inclusion and participation in community activities.
Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
Administering medication following appropriate training and guidelines.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.Requirements:

Previous experience working with individuals with autism, challenging behaviour, and learning difficulties is desirable but not essential.
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to undergo training in medication administration.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
