We're seeking a Specifications Technologist to manage production and finished product specifications with precision and efficiency for a well-established food manufacturer in North Kent.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and manage current specifications in various systems.
* Create accurate specifications within tight deadlines.
* Serve as a key contact for specifications discussions with stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Procurement/Audit to ensure raw materials meet product requirements.
* Manage finished product approval process and liaise with cross-functional teams.
* Monitor specification status using trackers.
* Provide training and support on specifications systems.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements.
* Assist in migrating existing specifications to production.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Proven track record as a Specifications Technologist within the food industry.
* Previous experience with specification systems UK retailers (especially Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s).
* Advanced Excel skills and a good knowledge of all other Microsoft products
