Contracts Manager Location: Letherhead/Remote Working Salary: £45k This newly created position within the expanding Commercial team will be a significant role in supporting the overall business goals. The role incorporates complete end-to-end ownership of all contractual documentation, both customer and supplier facing, from initial contract negotiations, liaising with external legal if required, through to good contract admin resulting in easy access to the contract database (which the successful candidate will need to design, create, implement, and manage when they initially join) for the wider business. Whilst an office-based role, if the successful candidate can WFH productively, this can be accommodated 1-2 days a week. You will also need to travel into our central London (Bishopsgate) sales office a few times a month to build good face-to-face relationships with our highly motivated and driven sales and sales-support teams. What we are looking for - * We are looking for a well presented, strong, focused, self-motivated individual with a flexible, positive can-do proactive approach who's a quick learner, with excellent initiative and self-direction. * Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, ever-changing environment essential. * Contract management and negotiation skills are a must for this role, the candidate will require a high level of attention to detail with accuracy and organisation skills to ensure information is correct and readily available to achieve prompt, on-time success within the (sometimes very short) timeframes required with the determination to see all admin tasks through to completion. * Paralegal skills would be a bonus, but not essential, Industry experience, knowledge of IT products &/or services, software/SaaS/subscriptions would be an advantage, but not essential. * You will need to be an articulate good communicator who can clearly put your point across, holding the company line, mitigating our risk, but without risking the overall deal, managing the pressure of tight contract deadlines with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. * Strong interpersonal skills, talking to multiple stakeholders including customers, suppliers, vendors, and colleagues, building solid internal relationships to ensure effective communication is always maintained. * The applicant will need to follow existing procedures and guidelines but would be expected to document and implement new policies or procedures where they see improvements can be achieved.
