Kitchen Designer

Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-regarded high-end bespoke independent showroom based in Kent, who are looking for a Kitchen Designer.

Salary: Paying a basic salary of between £27,000 - £30,000, plus uncapped commission.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm. Saturday, 9am-5pm (1 in 5 on a rota basis, with a day off in the week).

Location: The role is based in Sevenoaks, with Saturdays and some customer meetings at Tunbridge Wells.

The Role:

Full induction and training during the first months to learn the products and software, further training and support will be provided throughout the first six months and on-going. After training, the successful applicant will be expected to take full management of their projects from initial customer enquiry, through the design process to final installation.

* Designing bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and utility rooms, using CAD software (AutoKitchen)

* Ability to understanding the customer brief and turn it into reality exceeding all expectations

* Handling all aspects of the design, planning and installation through CAD work, on-site surveys

Candidate Requirements:

* Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in designing kitchens

* Experience with other interior spaces, such as bathrooms, wardrobes etc., preferable but not essential

* Knowledge of CAD software

* Strong project management skills being able to manage multiple projects at one time

* Passionate about kitchens/designing

* Must be able to converse with high net worth individuals

* High attention to detail, professional with an excellent sales acumen

* Providing outstanding customer service

* Must be personable and able to build a strong rapport with clients along with the skill too close a sale

* Proven track record in kitchen design and able to provide examples of own design work

* Full driving licence with own car is essential to be able to carry out customer visits
