Deputy Field Care Manager

I am looking for a deputy field care manager to join an established team based in Aylesbury. The role comes with a good salary and the chance for future career development. This is a full time permanent role and you will be an essential part of the team and your main duties will include:
· To liaise with registered manager to make sure sufficient care assistants with the right skills mix are recruited to meet the needs of the business.
· Arranging carers rotas, cover for care assistant sickness, absenteeism or holidays
· Accept, allocate and process new referrals for care and support promptly
· Process changes to customers care and support plans
· Liaise with clients, their families, social services and other personnel to ensure safe and caring, person centred care is delivered at all times.
· Ensure carers are supported at all times in a friendly and organised environment.
· Take part in the out of hours emergency on-call rota.
· Work with the office team to maintain up to date electronic and hand written records and make sure that accidents and incidents are recorded, reported and acted upon
· Carry out visits to carers in the field and deal with any issues.
· Take on new care packages and carry out assessments.
To be considered for this role you will must have experience as a care coordinator or field care supervisor. You must be able to use initiative and suggest new ideas and changes and be able to work well under pressure with a calm and friendly personality. You should have completed or be working towards a Level 3 Health and Social diploma and driving license and access to a car is essential
