Bouygues UK have a great opportunity  join us as an Assistant Document Controller. This new development referred to as HQ4 will involve student housing over retail and leisure/workspace facilities. With our current project on the adjacent site HQ3 this compliments our work in the Newham area. You will be based at out project office at the Canning Town - HQ4 site.

Fixed term contract - 1 year (permanent option at the end if successful)

Essential:

Good IT skills (MS Office)

Advanced Excel Skills (familiarity with Excel Formulas and functions)

Capacity to work effectively within a team environment

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong Organisational skills (prioritising tasks, respecting deadlines, methodical work)

Flexibility with changes to tasks and duties.

Multi-tasking ability

Problem solving

Previous experience in administrative roles

Job Purpose and Scope:

Based on site, the Document Controller is responsible for managing all administrative and technical documents, including the control of documentation and administrative processes in accordance with Project Specific and Company Procedures.   You also ensure that all users have access to the latest revision of appropriate documentation.

The role offers involvement in the following areas:

Check and process drawings and other technical information on the EDMS

Provide support to the overall Document Control team on live projects

Generate regular reports on the status of project documentation.

Prepare documents for presentation (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Upload information’s onto EDMS conforming to all Bouygues Protocols

Assist with the filing and archiving of project correspondence and handover documentation
