Environmental Health Technician – Noise & Nuisance
This is a great opportunity has for a keen and enthusiastic Environmental Health technician to join a busy Noise & Nuisance Team within a major organisation.
You will be expected to investigate noise complaints and other complaints such as those relating to bonfires and light pollution.
The officer will be expected to work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday . The individual is required to have a full UK driving license and will have their own vehicle to be able to carry out visits in the borough.
To be considered for the role you will require the following :
An extensive knowledge and experience of responding to statutory nuisance complaints under Environmental Protection 1990 and dealing with construction sites under the Control of Pollution Act 1974.
You must have excellent communication and customer care skills
The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
The ability to work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative is essential. Good interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
