Are you an Assistant Design Manager seeking a new challenge in an innovative environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an interior fit out company working on a variety of commercial CAT A and B fit out and refurbishment projects valued between £500k-£20m across London.
About the role of Assistant Design Manager:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager to work as a number 2 to a Design Manager and be responsible for the control and management of design activities and the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
Coordinating design activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the desired quality.
Managing the design team and responsible for delivering projects in accordance with client's requirements.
Understanding and managing changes to scope, budget, and programme.
Identifying project risks and opportunities and escalating any matters to the Design Manager and site team at the earliest opportunity.
Manage the on-site delivery of projects working closely with the Project Manager and Site Managers and visiting live sites regularly.
Lead Design Team Meetings, taking minutes and reporting back to the Design Manager.Requirements for the Design Manager role:
Degree or equivalent qualification with experience working on similar projects.
Good level of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel & Word,
A hard working and organised individual, who is a team player, reliable and shows initiative.
Technically minded, possesses good attention to detail and is happy visiting sites and managing the delivery of projects.
