If this sounds like you, then you are ready to join this Housing Association as Data Engineer at the early stages of the Social Housing sector’s data revolution.

As a Data Engineer with hands-on Azure and data factory SQL database expertise, you will take a lead role in introducing a new azure data platform to the business to help define this housing associations data vision and put it into practice.

You will join a growing IT and transformation team focused on a wide-ranging digital transformation project. Your remit will be to head the technical data piece reporting into the Lead Data Architect.

As Data Engineer, you will:

* Design, develop, and maintain data processes on the Azure platform.

* Create ETL processes to collect, cleanse, and transform data into usable formats.

* Support data migrations by extracting data from source systems, implementing data mappings and transformations, and loading into destination solutions.

* Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and design appropriate data models.

* Implement solutions for efficient data storage and retrieval.

* Optimise Azure resources for performance and efficiency.

* Integrate data from on-premises systems, cloud-based sources, and third-party APIs into the data ecosystem.

* Implement data governance practices.

You will need to have:

* Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies

* Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.

* Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques.

* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.

* Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala

A salary of £55,000 is on offer. With a great benefits package. The position is remote/hybrid with one day a month at the office in London.

Interviews will be taking place in April, with the Lead Data Architect looking to review applications as soon as possible.
