LHH are looking to recruit a Trust Accountant to join our client's Private Client Team. You would be working within a leading legal firm that is known for its unique blend of services tailored to meet the needs of their clients.

As their Trust Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the private client function for family trusts and will handle all aspects of financial information, such as investment portfolios or properties, up to trial balance level. You will also be responsible for drafting trust accounts and providing support to the wider team, particularly in the area of client due diligence and the maintenance of client due diligence information for trustees and beneficiaries.

Your key duties as a Trust Accountant:

Assist with trust accounting for family trusts
Post transaction information and generate trust accounts
Support the wider team and maintain client information
Opportunity to expand involvement in client financial reporting, including cash flow forecasts and calculating taxable income and capital gainsYour key skills required will include:

Have a Proven background in trust accounting or mainstream bookkeeping with a willingness to specialise in trust accounting
Proficiency with IT systems such as CCH, experience with Xero is desirable
Knowledge of Estate planning, double-entry bookkeeping and investment portfolios
Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach
