Role Overview:
As a Senior Scrub Nurse/Theatre Practitioner, you will provide senior scrub expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our Ophthalmic theatre. Your role will involve delivering safe, effective, and efficient patient care in accordance with departmental policies and standards. Additionally, you will mentor and lead theatre team nurses, Operating Department Practitioners (ODP), and support workers, while supporting staff development, retention, and recruitment efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver senior scrub experience for the efficient running of the Ophthalmic theatre.
* Ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care, adhering to departmental policies and standards.
* Mentor and lead theatre team nurses, ODPs, and support staff.
* Support the development, retention, and recruitment of theatre staff.

Requirements:
* Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC/ODP registration.
