JKS Restaurants are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their Finance team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about the food and beverage industry.

The Position

Working closely with numerous stakeholders throughout the business, the FP&A Analyst will report to the Head of FP&A and will be responsible for the preparation of weekly flash reporting, assisting with the annual budgeting and reforecast processes across the Group as well as supporting with the financial analysis and production of accurate, insightful information to help inform both short term and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and constant improvement of weekly KPI and management information report including Sales, GP, Staff costs
Analysis of site P&Ls, including understanding of the underlying drivers of sales and cost
Taking a lead role with the budgeting and reforecasting process across the group
Supporting and providing updates to the group 5 year model
Preparation of monthly Flash results
Assisting in the appraisal of potential new sites and investment opportunities
Ad-hoc analysis to support decisions across various departments.
As FP&A Analyst you will have the following skills and experience:

Advanced Excel experience
2+ years of experience in a multi-site business is preferable
Excellent data analysis and presentation skills.
Experience working with various systems and large, complex datasets.
Strong understanding of financial statements and ability to model them
Analytical, creative thinker, who is detail oriented.
Self-motivated problem solver.
Willingness to implement process improvement.
Experience with data analytics visualisation tools e.g. Power BI / Tableau
Newly qualified or part qualified a recognised accountancy qualification is preferable
Experience in Sage Intacct / Adaco / S4 Labour System would be advantageous
