Sommelier

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Sommelier to join the team of a high-end Japanese restaurant in Mayfair. We serve a tasting menu to 8-10 people at a time and aiming for our first Michelin star this year.
As a Sommelier, you will be supporting the owner with the day-to-day running of the restaurant and be responsible for the impeccable pairing and serving of wines and sake.
The perfect Sommelier for this opportunity must be focused, hardworking, and very service-orientated with a good eye for detail. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture is essential.
As a Sommelier, you will be hands-on, and serve the drinks yourself, while the chefs serve the food.
The successful Sommelier will receive:
