Procurement Manager - Banbury, Hybrid.

Bibby Financial Services have an exciting opportunity available for a meticulous Procurement Manager to join our team on a Hybrid basis. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of  £40,000-£45,000 per annum and other benefits.

As our Procurement Manager, you will ensure that Bibby Financial Services procurement of goods/services and management of supply/service contracts delivers the best value and complies with group policies and relevant legislation.

You will provide best in class procurement support to the business through stakeholder management, monthly reporting, monthly meetings with commercial finance, identifying opportunities, discussing future activities.

Your responsibilities as our Procurement Manager will include:

Provide procurement direction to business stakeholders by implementing a category management approach and building a detailed level of control across designated areas of contracted spend. 
Support delivery of the Procurement cost reduction opportunities and deliver quickly and effectively against Cost Saving Targets across the portfolio. Identify quick wins, medium & longer term targets, focus on opex, capex, cost avoidance, value beyond savings, revenue generation, supplier consolidation.
Provide technical and commercial procurement expertise to key business projects and business areas across all categories (IT, Facilities Management, HR, Professional Services, Marketing).  
Support implementation of robust procurement policies and procedures, in line with applicable legal frameworks, group policies/strategy and best professional practices.
Promote internal understanding of the procurement lifecycle, including guidance on appropriate sourcing strategies, processes, commercial/contract terms and supplier management.
Negotiation with existing suppliers and potential new suppliers to ensure the best service and value for BFS, with a clear eye on delivering commercial improvements and underpinning with good contract control.
Ability to read, interpret, review and redline contracts highlighting commercial implications and risks to the business and negotiate the best terms for BFS.
Lead on Environmental Social Governance activities aligned to Bibby Compass objectives.

What we are looking for in our ideal Procurement Manager:

Procurement Management experience across a number of indirect spend areas: IT, Facilities Management, HR, Professional Services, Marketing.
Track record of having delivered savings against a range of procurement value measures (including Capex, Opex, cost avoidance, revenue improvements, value beyond savings).
Negotiation ability, strong data analytical and logic reasoning ability.
Understanding of contract law and experience with various types of contracts.
Collaborative stakeholder engagement including developed communication skills adaptable to various levels including senior management.
Experience of having effectively delivered a category management strategy
