Ipeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting for Domestic Cleaners to work for our client based in Islington and surrounding area.
The successful post holder must ensure that the resident’s environment is safe, clean, hygienic, and ‘homely by undertaking a variety of domestic tasks & duties efficiently, safely and having regard to the professional objectives of the setting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Be responsible for the delivery of services to service users in the home, in such a way that safeguards and promotes their welfare.
* Undertake, the cleaning of designated areas within day or residential settings, to ensure that are kept in a clean and hygienic condition
* Washing; sweeping; vacuum cleaning; emptying of litterbins; polishing: dusting, washing down of paintwork of such designated areas (including toilets, bathrooms, and shower area) and fixtures & fittings, using where appropriate powered equipment.
* Cleaning of the kitchen, its surroundings at the request of the cook/housekeeper, deputy, or unit manager
* The cleaning of young people’s own space/rooms/the making of beds
* Monitoring cleaning supplies
* The collection, preparation, laundering and finishing of both clients garments and household linens (e.g., table clothes)
* The cleaning of laundry equipment and immediate surrounds.
* The reporting of machinery breakdowns, problems etc to the cook/housekeeper/manager
Working hours: 20 hours per week ( 5hrs per day, 4 days)

* Safeguarding crt
* Health and Safety cert
* COSHH cert
* Fire Prevention cert
* Infection Control cert
* First Aid cert
* Food Hygiene cert
* Enhanced DBS
