Transport Manager

Streamline Services are currently recruiting for one of our client who are a renowned leader in the logistics industry. Currently, they are seeking an experianced Transport Manager to join their dynamic team and drive the optimization of transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute transportation strategies to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
* Coordinate transportation routes, schedules, and resources to meet delivery deadlines.
* Lead the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of transportation personnel.
* Ensure strict adherence to transportation regulations and safety protocols.
* Monitor transportation performance metrics and implement optimization initiatives as necessary.
* Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve transportation challenges and streamline processes.
* Cultivate and maintain partnerships with transportation vendors and service providers.
* Prepare and analyze transportation budgets and forecasts to support informed decision-making.
* Ensure the management of profit and loss statements, comprehensive reporting, and strategic cost reduction initiatives.
Qualifications:
* CPC Holder.
* Demonstrated experience in transportation management within the logistics industry.
* Exceptional leadership and decision-making capabilities.
* Proficiency in organizational and time-management techniques.
* Thorough understanding of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
* Proficiency in transportation management software and tools.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
