We're thrilled to announce an outstanding opportunity for a Controller/Planner to join our client's dynamic team based in Redhill.
We're seeking individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, highly organized, and driven by care-focused values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and organize daily and future bookings using the control system, ensuring accurate resourcing and timely communication with subcontractors, taxi services, and volunteers as needed.
* Primarily focus on dispatching and managing operational crews to ensure efficient patient collection and delivery between destinations, meeting contractual targets.
* Handle patient transport requests and inquiries with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism, in line with service procedures and standing orders.
* Perform general clerical tasks, including checking booking lists, data entry, and completing necessary forms/invoices.
* Uphold and improve the quality of service provided to patients and customers.
* Respond promptly and effectively to all incoming telephone calls, taking appropriate action and liaising with external agencies such as GP's, Nursing Homes, and Hospital Clinics.
* Maintain smooth patient flow across control areas through effective communication with colleagues and hospital staff, resolving urgent issues promptly and responding to unplanned events.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills gained from customer-facing roles.
* Strong ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
* Good organizational abilities.

The working hours will be 7am to 7pm – Monday to Friday and split between a 07:00 – 15:00 & 11:00 – 19:00 shift pattern.
