Maintenance Engineer - Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Minworth, who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance of injection moulding machinery.
Salary: Circa £47,000

Job Start date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: Continental shift pattern – 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities for Maintenance Engineer:
* Conducting frequent quality checks on equipment to ensure no maintenance is required
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance of injection moulding machinery
* Maintenance of hydraulics
* Completing emergency maintenance when equipment breaks down
* Keeping a record of preventive and emergency maintenance carried out
* Ensuring the organisation complies with safety regulations while maintenance takes place
About You:
* Ability to understand a variety of engineering procedures and functions
* Team-working skills to liaise and work cooperatively with individuals at all levels
* Ability to confidently work alone on occasions
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Electrical, three phase and single phase understanding essential
* General mechanical experience essential
* Injection moulding experience desired but not essential
