Project Manager - London - £45-50 per hour Umbrella - minimum 6 month - Contract

Primary Purpose:
As a Project Manager, you will spearhead the management of new high voltage transmission product development and continuation projects. The HV product plays a pivotal role in providing current to power undersea cable systems, boasting high voltage capabilities and exceptional reliability.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate resource and task estimates, ensuring effective allocation and utilization across multiple projects.
Develop comprehensive plans ranging from detailed schedules to milestone delivery plans.
Establish and maintain project structures and plans for both new and continuation projects.
Analyse project performance data encompassing schedule, resource, and cost, and lead stakeholder meetings to present findings and chart the path forward.
Manage baseline and change control processes to ensure project integrity.
Uphold accountability for the quality of project data and reporting.
Cultivate collaborative working relationships across teams.
Oversee project procurement management, including interface agreement validation and alignment with budget and schedule.
Prioritise workload and resolve conflicting demands effectively.
Tools: Proficiency with Project Management Tools, particularly Microsoft Project.

Experience & Qualifications:

Proven experience in engineering project management, ideally with a background in electronics/electrical hardware domains.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and approach tasks analytically and methodically.
Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to support project team members.
Commitment to accountability for work, team members, and timely project delivery in terms of cost, quality, and scope.
Preference given to candidates with experience in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC).
PMI or PMP Certification is advantageous.
