Specification Technologist
Alexander Steele have partnered exclusively with one of the fastest growing food manufacturing businesses in the UK. Our client is seeking for an experienced specification technologist to join their site in London on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* Writing and developing specifications for new and existing products that the business offers.
* Liaise with suppliers and customers to develop and modify product specifications ensuring that they meet with the specified legal and customer requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as npd team, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to obtain necessary information for specification development.
* Stay up to date with local and international food labelling regulations, including allergen and nutrition labelling.
Background Experience:
* 2+ years of experience in a specification technologist role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
* Experience in creating and managing/writing food product specifications.
* Strong understanding of food ingredient functionality, nutritional analysis, and allergen management.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Paying up to £35,000
