Corporate Accounts Team Manager

Company: CV-Library
Job type: Full-time

Location - 3 days a week at our HQ in East London (Aldgate East), the other 2 wfh/office
* This role would suit a strong people manager - this is not a step up role.
* You must have a background in managing a team of Account Managers and/or Lettings Negotiators or Similar
* Sadly, this role will not suit a solely retail or hospitality background, due to the nature of our product
Our mission:
* Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. Goodlord's mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world 🌎
* We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution 🏠
* Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350 Goodlordians supporting the mission! 💚
The Opportunity:
* You’ll be managing our Key Accounts Team and you’ll play a pivotal role in building and developing our strategic partnerships (and helping the team to do the same!) with lettings agents across the UK.
* You will be responsible for sales at a C-suite level, creating data driven plans and commercial proposals to drive large revenue increases through the business.
* You will closely manage, monitor and coach the performance and development of our Key Accounts Managers.
* You’ll understand and contribute to the team’s budget line within the business
What we need from you:
* Exceptional leadership skills to be able to motivate and guide a team, coaching, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as a strategic mindset in identifying areas and opportunities for the Key Accounts Team's success (and solid experience doing this!)
* Solid experience in an Account Management (or similar commerical) OR Lettings role previously
* The ability to take initiative to be able to identify areas and opportunities for driving growth in the business
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to influence stakeholders at C-suite level
* Analytical skills for data-driven reporting and decision-making
What's in it for you:
* 🚀 Grow with Goodlord: your development is important to us. Have a goal in mind? Share it with us and you can use your £1000 annual development fund to support it. We guarantee you’ll learn loads and develop both personally and professionally at Goodlord too!
* 💕 Your well-being matters: bi-weekly coaching with Sanctus to provide Goodlordians with a safe place to talk and support your mental health
* 🌴 25 days holiday: including 3 between Christmas & New Year (plus UK bank holidays)with the opportunity to earn up to 30 days based on meeting revenue targets
* 🤗 Supporting your family: we offer Goodlordians of all genders a generous 3 months of fully-paid time off to look after their new arrivals
