4 x Painter/Decorators URGENTLY required to start Monday 22nd April

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Pay: £ 21.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm

1) Are you an experienced Painter / Decorator?

2) Do you have your own transport to commute to work?

3) Can you hang Wide Vinyl Wallpaper?

3) Do you have a CSCS card?

4) Can you start on Monday 22nd of April?

We URGENTLY require 4 experienced Painter/Decorators for our Construction client based in the Leighton Buzzard area.

The Opportunity

4 Painter/Decorators are required to start on Monday 22nd of April for 2 to 3-month contract

Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation:

* Assess surfaces for flaws and prepare them by sanding, filling, and priming.

* Safeguard adjacent areas with masking tape and protective covers.

Painting, Wallpapering, and Finishing:

* Mix paints to desired shades and textures.

* Wallpaper using wide vinyl wallpaper techniques

* Apply coats evenly using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.

* Expertly hang wallpaper for seamless results.

Quality Control:

* Inspect finished surfaces for quality and rectify any imperfections.

* Maintain tools for optimal performance.

Safety and Compliance:

* Adhere to safety standards and utilize appropriate protective gear.

* Dispose of materials responsibly.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Must have experience in hanging wide vinyl wallpaper

* Painting commercial properties

* Own tools essential

* Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Physical endurance for various working conditions.

* Certification or training in painting and wallpapering is advantageous.
