Job Description:

As a Creative Media Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in various aspects of media production, including digital video, audio production, photography, and graphic design. You will develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and encourage student creativity and technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in creative media.

Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in alignment with curriculum objectives.

Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.

Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.

Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.

Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.

Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.

Communicate with parents and guardians about students' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and school events.

Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of creative media and integrate new technologies and methodologies into teaching practices.

Qualifications:

Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in creative media.

Proficiency in media production software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

Strong understanding of various media formats and platforms.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.

Experience in curriculum development and instructional strategies.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administration.
