ECTS Welcome

We are seeking a passionate educator, with a specialism in History, who can ignite curiosity and appreciation for Humanities in students across all levels. With a focus on delivering top-notch teaching, you aim to create an immersive experience where students view Humanities as a captivating universe of its own. This opportunity is undoubtedly enticing for someone who's ambitious and dedicated to making a difference in education. If you're ready to inspire the next generation with your knowledge and enthusiasm, this could be the perfect fit for you!

The Senior Leadership team at the Academy strongly emphasises the well-being of our colleagues, prioritising mental health and a healthy work/life balance. We have implemented systems that empower our staff to thrive, including a centralised behaviour system, a clear management structure, and ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Join us at Sir Herbert Leon Academy, where the commitment to grow strong relationships, prioritising well-being, and striving for excellence in education shapes a community dedicated to the development of every individual.

Sir Herbert Leon Academy is an 11-19 Mixed Comprehensive in Bletchley, South Milton Keynes. Our academy has 587 learners and employs around 100 dedicated teachers and support staff. The academy's senior leadership team places high priority on colleagues' mental health and work/life balance and has established systems to allow staff to flourish. There is a centralised behaviour system, a clear line management structure and opportunities for personal and professional development. As Sir Herbert Leon is a relatively small secondary school, new staff can foster strong relationships with both colleagues and students very swiftly, which enables them to embed within their new team quickly and know how best to teach students, according to their individual needs. The students are the beating heart of the school; it is a privilege to teach them as we continue on our journey to raise aspirations and outcomes for the local community.

Please contact us for an informal chat or to arrange a school visit.
