KAP Technical , headquartered in Milton Keynes, specializes in supplying a comprehensive range of packaging machinery to the corrugated industry. Our product line includes casemakers, printer slotters, folding/stitching/gluing machines, strappers, digital printers, digital cutting tables, and die-cutting equipment.
We are currently seeking individuals with experience in the corrugated industry to join our engineering and electrical team. The primary responsibilities of this role involve the installation, commissioning, and/or removal of both new and used packaging machinery at customer sites. As these tasks often require national and international travel, flexibility is crucial, with occasional weekend work and short-notice assignments.
In addition to installation and removal, our team also provides breakdown and machinery service plans to our customers, along with electrical refurbishment of used equipment at our Milton Keynes facility.
Preferred skills for this role include control panel building, wiring, testing, as well as proficiency in HMI and PLC programming. While a forklift license, working at height certification, and experience in welding and machining would be advantageous, they are not essential, as training can be provided upon employment.

* Hourly pay based on a 37.5-hour week, with designated breaks
* Overtime pay at 1.5x for Monday to Saturday, and 2x for Sundays and Bank Holidays
