Are you an Experienced Registered Manager of Domiciliary Care? If so, we’ve got a great opportunity to be part of something new and build a busy and thriving business. With the backing of a supportive franchise organisation in place, my client has opened a domiciliary care business this year and is currently seeking a confident, compliance-oriented Registered Manager to work with them.

You’ll manage the existing 'small but growing’ care provision and assist with owner with business development; marketing and promoting the organisation in the local area to increase the hours.

It’s a rewarding challenge to take on and my client has significant 3-5 year plans for growth and opening branches in new territories, so the opportunity to progress within the organisation and take on a Senior Management role are there for the right person.

There's a starting salary of £35,000 on offer with an attractive bonus scheme based upon incremental increases in the hours.

The Registered Manager Role

* The branch is already open and operating and so all of the systems, process and policies are already in place. They have some care packages already, but this is an important stage in their growth and you’ll work with the Owner to attract and secure new clients to support.

* You’ll oversee the management of the care packages and staff and ensure that you recruit a steady stream of new carers to work with the new clients you bring on board.

* You’ll ensure that all Care Assessments, Reviews, Risk Assessment, medication charts and other paperwork are completed to a high standard and audited regularly.

* As the hours increase, you’ll recruit an office team to assist you , care coordinators, field care supervisors etc. It’s a great chance to build a team of people you choose specifically, rather than inheriting one already built.

* Their business model is in delivering top-quality care within the private market, so there is a strong emphasis on customer service, individualised care packages, experienced and professional care staff and going the extra mile.

Who would this role suit?

* It’s Absolutely Essentialthat you’re anExperienced RegisteredManager who has managed a domiciliary care branch previously.

* You’ll also need experience of managing private business - it is very different to managing local authority contract and we need somebody who understands the nuances.

* A track record in growing a domiciliary care agency.

* A determination to succeed and a confident, caring manner.

* QCF5 / NVQ 4 in leadership and management of social care

* Driver with own vehicle
