Based in Milton Keynes, this is an exciting opportunity to join a proven organisation focused on the development of Iot technology, with a focus on Low Power.
Key responsibilities will include the design, development and prototype of new hardware systems balancing a workload of 60/50 between Firmware and Hardware Developments. Other responsibilities include: Leading the firmware development lifecycle from concept to deployment; working closely with a strong multidisciplinary engineering team on exciting and challenging new and excising projects; Transforming engineering challenges into marketable products by leveraging expertise in low power wireless technology.
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree in Electronics or Physics, with experience of:
• Hardware and firmware development with willingness to broaden skills in both areas
• Strong proficiency in C Programming and Python
• PCB Design experience (Altium) and Firmware Development tools
• Solid understanding of microcontrollers , and peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART) with an emphasis on low power design
• Experience in wireless would be beneficial i.e Cellular, Lora and Bluetooth.
