Battery Test & Glove Box Engineer

We are currently looking for a Battery Test & Glove Box Engineer, who will join a team of experienced battery experts developing innovative software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for various aspects of battery testing including test setup, rig development, following test procedures, generating data, basic data analysis, equipment maintenance, and communication of findings and results.
 
The Battery Test & Glove Box Engineer will:
Battery cell development testing using Glovebox.
Maintain methods of operation and facilities aligned with the Fortescue WAE 5S system.
Input into all areas of facilities operations, including H&S, environmental, maintenance / calibration, work instructions, quality process development.
Design, procurement and build of prototype test rigs for cell level development testing.
Complete internal calibration exercises for test equipment and organising external calibration services where necessary.  
The Battery Test & Glove Box Engineer will have:
Experience of battery cell deconstructive activities.
Demonstrable experience of completing H&S documentation (risk assessments, COSHH assessments and Permit to Work)
Experience of battery cell level development testing and associated industry standard equipment and software.
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Hands-on engineering approach.
